8K ? Yes ! Multiscreen Production.

You might not think you need it until you have an unexpectedly challenging project. We recently completely an immersive video experience in 8K featuring 3 1920 screens running together in sync. To edit that means working on all 3 screens at once in a 8K wide timeline so things can move across screens. Handling such a large res project was no problem  in real time with new modern M1 ultra Macs. This project was not just a single layer of video on each screen, it had multiple layers of video all the time leading to a complex 20 track timeline.
     Sound was a room filling surround audio mix in quad. That might seem retro but it worked with the least amount of gear and was a crowd pleaser.
